Your Role:

This position is a critical member of the Customer Support Engineering organization, responsible for supporting our global engineering division in deploying and supporting our best-in-class connected vehicle and data analytics platform. Your work will consist of supporting Aptiv Connect Validation customers with engineering projects related to data collection, analysis, visualization, and overall customer satisfaction within product offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, implement data collection models and other innovative methods to collect and present vehicle data and insights which increase customer value.
  • Review customer data, reports, and dashboards to verify correctness, completeness, fidelity, and value
  • Support root cause and resolution of system malfunctions with engineers and other personnel. Provide technical information and procedures to the customer.
  • Gather voice of the customer feedback and directly modify or specify new product components to ensure it meets customer design and performance requirements.
  • Maintain customer/supplier contact to ensure satisfaction and program success.
  • Establish and maintain customer/internal data creation standards.
  • Develop engineering solutions within assigned project(s) scope and timing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • Vehicle systems and interactions, including powertrain, EV and/or ADAS.
  • Experience working with vehicle data, vehicle networks, diagnostic protocols, and associated signal definition files such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet, dbc, ISO14229
  • Product development tools including data acquisition, management, analysis tools
  • Knowledge of cloud services, data storage and analysis.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem analysis and solution skills in dealing with complex technical issues.
  • Mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and/or data science.
  • Understanding individual tasks interconnected and impacting other parts of testing.
