Project Engineer

ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL

• Coordinate access for site surveys 
• Perform walkthroughs for installing Pilot’s services 
• Document building details within Salesforce 
• Create scopes of work detailing the cable routing method to bring Pilot’s services to a customer or building 
• Create work orders detailing the materials needed for installations 
• Collaborate with other internal teams on scopes of work and installations 
• Participate in on-call rotation for outages using Pilot’s internal applications 
• Create and maintain up to date documentation for all work 
• Support other internal teams/stakeholders with engineering questions/requests 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2-4 years experience with fiber optic installations or an engineering role 
• OSHA10 or OSHA30 Certification not required, but a plus 
• Experience performing telecommunication surveys 
• Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with drafting software (Visio, CAD, Sketch-up, Revit, Bluebeam)
• Construction experience not required, but a plus

• Base salary of $70,000 - $80,000
