Project Engineer

For Project Engineering services in the Engineering and Capitals Project area. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferable) with at least five (5) years of exposure in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
• Experience in:
  • Field engineering and coordination. 
  • Mechanical projects. 
  • All project stages: developing documentation to request a quote, generating reports and leading.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Provide technical interpretation of design documents.
• Execute work in accordance with quality standards and site requirements.
• Performs assignments independently with minimal guidance as to the general results expected, often dealing with unusual or complex problems.
• Provides direction and regular contact to consultants, vendors and contractors assigned to the project.
• Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.
• Keep site management informed of all circumstances that could affect projects.
• Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress
• Review and compare discipline drawings for inconsistencies, omitted information and conflicts, etc.
• Interface between craft and engineering to resolve drawing issues
• Interaction with disciplines: subcontracts, material management, project controls and automation tools.
• Coordinate system completion and turnover.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Requisition project materials, equipment and services.
• Prepare quality control forms and coordinate inspections.
