PROJECT ENGINEER

Project Engineer - Tyndall AFB, FL

BB&E is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Program Management Office onsite at Tyndall AFB, FL.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Plan and execute major projects in a wide array of civil engineering areas.
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited (ABET) University.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum 3-10 years of related experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) / Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desired, but not required.
• Experience must be related to program and project management from the Department of Defense (DoD), Military Construction (MILCON), or comparable Programs/Projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• Working conditions:
• Ability to work both indoor/outdoor (with exposure to the elements)
• Ability to walk/climb/knee/crouch and reach
• Ability to work on rough terrain when necessary
• Exposure to hazards/contaminants at times
• Ability to work in confined spaces and/or heights
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 60% of the time.
• Operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Light lifting, under 10 lbs.
