Responsible for New Product/Initiative planning and tracking, including direct program development from requirement definition through production. Develop full-scale program plans as associated program deliverables required for the successful program execution. Review program risks, dependencies, and critical path, as well as plan and schedule program timelines and schedules using appropriate tools. Utilize expertise and experience to track program milestones and deliverables against the approved baseline and communicate program status at all levels within the organization. Identify risks in the program schedules and assist in the creation of mitigation and contingency plans. Ensure engineering department goals, metrics and objectives are met by tailoring and optimizing project deliverables to execute projects faster and to meet 100% of customers' needs. Communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Proactively handle changes in the program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Drive the sharing of best practices across the program management team, and continuously evaluate new product design, development, and release processes and suggest improvements to reduce product cycle times. Maintain program resource plans, as well as track program execution via quantifiable metrics, and leverage program metrics to improve program execution. Establish and audit standardized tools and templates to use when leading cross functional team meetings, as well as create project schedules based on approved program scope. Conduct audit and create program plans including schedule creation, gathering development cost estimates, and target cost information. Ensure that the corporate program tracking tool is kept up to date. Manage the gaps between functions to guide programs though the stage gated development process.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field. Five (5) years of progressive experience in Technical Project Management of NPI Projects, cross functional development projects, software development projects or a combination thereof.

Special Requirements

Academic background or work experience to include: Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); JIRA or Confluence; Agile and Waterfall Methodology; NPI Lifecycle Development; Risk Management.
