Your Role

• Provide specific direction through written and verbal communication to maintenance and operations to execute work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Use own technical expertise or obtain external engineering support to ensure solutions are robust and sound.
• Assure capital projects are within +/- 10% of projected costs, on time and of high quality.
• Conceptualize solutions, define budgetary needs/scope, gain approval for capital funding, forecast spending, accrue financials, coordinate schedules, start up projects and obtain approval of installations.
• Responsible for the overall project plan, development and management of schedules, budgets, and milestones in coordination with the functional elements to manage projects, identify issues.
• Provide expert-level project management for floating plant projects of high dollar value, of high complexity of extraordinary urgency, or having similar requirements.
• Provide expert technical advice to other lower-graded project managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering and min of 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and Access skills are required.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Strong team player.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Customer service driven.
• Problem solving and analytics aptitude.
• Combination of home office, and on-site work with the ability to travel up to 75% of the time throughout the United States and Canada (additional international travel may also be required).
