This position offers the opportunity to manage both technical manufacturing and administrative aspects, driving projects from inception to completion while maintaining strong customer relationships.What You Will Do: • Project Oversight: Monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects. Identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to ensure project completion.• Resource Management: Manages all aspects of an engineering project and programs. Allocate resources effectively, drive strategic planning, and assign tasks to meet business targets.• Team Leadership: Direct a team of professionals and team leaders in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.• Communication: Conduct project meetings and prepare comprehensive reports to communicate project status to stakeholders.• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex project issues, recommending solutions and adjusting resources as necessary.• Customer Interface: Act as the primary contact with key customers, fostering strong professional relationships and understanding their needs within project scope.• Program Management: Oversee all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to program guidelines and objectives.• Proposal and Budget Management: Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.• Performance Management: Monitor project progress and assess issues to ensure productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals are met.• Schedule Management: Meets program schedules and budgets and maintains a portion of the integrated master schedules for project(s).What You'll Learn in this Role: Project Management Expertise: You'll develop strong project management skills by overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from planning and initiation through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This includes understanding customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Problem Solving and Decision Making: You'll enhance your ability to identify and address complex project problems, recommend solutions, and make decisions that impact project outcomes. - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
