Project Expeditor / Project Manager

A commercial real estate investment and development company is seeking a proactive individual to expedite projects approvals, obtain sufficient number of bids and make sure that the participants are making progress with their responsibilities. The person will deal with contractors, government agencies, own company employees, and help obtain project permits. The job will require visits to construction sites and coordinate and evaluate the job progress. The person needs to have experience in construction and understanding of construction plans as well as having experience in project scheduling and using of software project management tools. The person will work closely with the company executive and with the accounting department. 5 years of construction or business experience and at least a 4 year College Degree in Business or Engineering is required. The job requires flexibility, professional attitude, ability to write simple agreements and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is not a remote working position and requires Project Management training or experience in using project management software or apps.
