DCE L1 - Sr. Data Center Network TechnicianQualifications: Culture / Team fit Ambitious / Hard working / Coachable Physical layer: fiber optic connections, contamination, cleaning Understand ESD best practices Comfortable with text based CLI Familiar with IP based networking A+/Network+ level of knowledge desired 2+ years of IT related experience preferred Good organization, multitasking and communication skills Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Outlook, Excel Understanding of network procedures, environmental and safety management in a DC environmentResponsibilities: Physical hardware swaps: (Fabric only)o Optical transceiver swaps / Circuit diagnosiso Line card swapo Switches (TOR) Replacemento Work with vendors for RMA'so Must be able to lift 50lbs Build relationships with partner teams within the DC Asset management Tools and Ticket management (1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue (2.) To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time (3.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (4.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
