Job Description

WP1

Work Package Combined Bearings NAMAX size EN040/EN035 / Expander Casing 3.0
Adaptation of the axial expander housings for the use of combined bearings when using standardized bearing pedestal housings of the steam turbine.

Adaptation of the shaft geometry in the area of the bearing points.

Casing

• Modify casting and machined 3D model to support standard steam turbine bearing housings
• Setup assembly
• Modify cast, machined and assembly drawings of turbine casing

Rotor

• Modify rotor to support combined bearings
• Modify forged and machined shaft
• Update rotor assembly
• Modify and update forged, machined and assembly drawings of rotor

WP2

Support of Pre-Engineering for project AVILAXNO 2024

The project comprises the design of an axial expander, size EN035.

Orderable NX models and documents for long lead items like Shaft, casing, bearing pedestals, vane carriers have to be created

WP3

Complete Engineering of the axial expander for project AVILAXNO 2024 according to MAN-ES specifications

The project comprises the design of an axial expander, size EN035.

Orderable NX models and documents for all components of the expander in ECTR / SAP
