Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of projects in the automotive domain. The ideal candidate will ensure successful execution of projects, maintain high-quality standards, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery Management

• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects within the automotive domain on time and within budget.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and quality metrics to ensure compliance with agreed-upon objectives.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and industry standards.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships to understand client needs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in project progress.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the team.

Automotive Domain Expertise

• Understand the latest trends, technologies, and challenges in the automotive industry, including electric vehicles, connected cars, and autonomous driving.
• Leverage industry knowledge to guide project design, execution, and delivery.

Operational Efficiency

• Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize productivity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 8–12 years of experience in project management or delivery management, preferably in the automotive industry or IT services.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with global clients.
• Skills:
  • Strong project management skills (PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and EVs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.).
  • Ability to handle complex projects and manage conflicting priorities.
