The Army Division, Mission Network Department N211 is seeking a Project Leader to lead our Program Manager (PM) Interoperability, Integration and Services (PM I2S) project. This project office provides clear linkage to the cross-cutting interoperability line of effort within the Army's network implementation plan and plays a key role in coordinating between the Army's program offices that deliver tactical network capability and the Army Futures Command's Network Cross-Functional Team. You will be working with DoD and technology experts to preserve and expand our competitive advantage in the face of near-peer competition and asymmetric threats. Mission Command Networks is focused on developing solutions to deliver transport agnostic data centric capability across a unified network.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop modernization strategies, assess and prototype technical capabilities and solutions, research emerging technology and implications, influence data centric strategies and decisions, and most importantly, directly impact the sponsor's mission.

• Drive transformation and performance enhancements across the Army network portfolio to enable the design, integration, acquisition, and delivery of modernized network solutions for the Army and the Joint Force.

• Ensure the systems developed and fielded by PEO C3T and partner PEOs integrate with each other which results in fully networked capability to achieve the Army 'network vision 2030

• Oversee delivery of impactful MITRE work of a 6 to 8 STE project
• Perform studies and analysis including collecting and analyzing test and operational mission command performance data, experimentation and assessments of existing/planned network topographies and make recommendations on enhancements to the Army network.
• Work closely with military and civilian government experts from across the directorate to address their critical mission needs, identify relevant emerging technologies, and create advanced solutions to address gap in Army network modernization challenges.
• Ability to evaluate commercial solutions informed by Soldier-led experimentation, and transitions Army science and technology initiatives into program offices.
• Support and provide recommendations in support of the Army's Unified Network Operations (NetOps) Convergence strategy.
• Conduct market research that results in the identification of commercial capabilities that can be integrated into future Army network enhancements.
• Ability to conduct system technical trades and studies technical trades such as system and unit functional and performance comparisons, tests, data collection, and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Engineering (Systems or EE) or a related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
• Minimum of an active Secret Security Clearance
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and proven efficiency working relationships with internal and external customers, including the ability to lead and work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of Army network transformation initiatives, along with the systems of systems integration develop, design, and solution development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of the integration challenges related to Army tactical radios into the ITN and with PEO Soldier Systems.
