JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

Under direct supervision of a more senior project manager, oversees all aspects of small projects or phase(s) of larger projects. Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Coordinate with departments to perform internal team selection and assist with the selection of outside vendors as needed. Delegates tasks to project team members based upon skill sets and experience. Develop comprehensive project plans and prepare reports for upper management regarding project statuses. Use and continually develop leadership and project management skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading assigned projects.
• Performing all other assigned duties.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Requires High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position or responsibilities. Telecom experience is a plus.
• Project Management Certification in any discipline preferred.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have experience with process improvement
