The Army Division, Mission Network Department N211 is seeking a Project Leader for our Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) headquarters program (HQ). PEO C3T develops fields, and supports advanced tactical command, control, and communications systems that enhance the soldier's mission command capability. The PEO C3T's program offices deliver the required applications software, as well as computer, network, and transport hardware that are integrated as the foundation of the Army's Division-centric Network of 2030. To accomplish its mission, the PEO C3T HQ and Program Offices require personnel with systems engineering, system-of-systems engineering, and integration expertise to provide unbiased advice, formulate courses of action, analyze programs, and make recommendations across a wide spectrum of issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop network transformational strategies, assess and prototype technical capabilities and solutions, research emerging technology and implications, influence data centric strategies and decisions, and most importantly, directly impact the sponsor's mission.

  • Drive transformation and performance enhancements across the Army network portfolio to enable the design, integration, acquisition, and delivery of modernized network solutions for the Army and the Joint Force.
  • Oversee delivery of impactful MITRE work of a 6 to 8 STE project
  • Develop and implement a PEO-wide approach for Digital Engineering to enable decision making.
  • Work closely with military and civilian government experts from across the directorate to address their critical mission needs, identify relevant emerging technologies, and create advanced solutions to address gap in Army network modernization challenges.
  • Provide systems engineering support for the physical and logical integration of PEO C3T network, transport, and mission command application capabilities on Army command posts, ground and robotic system platforms, and dismounts.
  • Assess new technologies or conduct trade studies by defining analysis strategies and plans, executing SoS analysis, and assessing analysis results at the PEO C3T laboratory facilities (including the Tactical Systems Integration Facility (TSIF)), in other Army/Joint laboratories, at field exercises, at MITRE and commercial laboratories, and at Army/Joint Developmental and Operational Test events.
  • Investigate and evaluate product technology architectures/roadmaps and provide recommendations on how PEO C3T programs and products can transition to support planned System of Systems (SoS) Command Control Communications Computers Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) architectures.
  • Ability to lead and work in a collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems or EE) or a related technical field; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • A minimum of an active Secret Security Clearance is required
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with proven effective working relationships with internal and external customers, as well as the ability to lead and work in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge and skills in applying digital engineering practices and processes used to visualize network dependencies across systems, platforms, and echelons.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Army network transformation initiatives, along with the systems of systems integration develop, design, and solution development.
