Project Management Leader

Put a LIFT in Your Career! Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for a driven and experienced Project Management Leader to guide and mentor our Continuous Improvement Team at our Berea, KY plant. 

Who You Are: 

• Project Manager: You have extensive experience leading projects from concept through implementation, with a proven track record of driving them to successful completion. 

• Leadership: Over 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial sector such as automotive or agriculture, where you've successfully led manufacturing initiatives and excelled in guiding and mentoring teams to reach their highest potential.

• Problem Solver: You can recognize opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to lead teams through effective execution. 

What You Will Do: 

• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Effectively collaborate with our manufacture engineers, supply chain, and operational teams. 

• Drive Manufacturing Transformation: Play a key role in the Americas Division Manufacturing Transformation Program, assisting in the creation of the Factory of the Future design and implementation.  

• Project Management: Oversee project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring all projects meet their objectives within the desired timelines and budgets. 

• Mentor and Develop Teams: Provide leadership and guidance in a matrix environment, focusing on performance management, associate relations, and professional development. 

What You Will Need: 

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or an Associate’s degree with 7-10 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing. 

• Additional: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on project management and team leadership.

• Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, driving projects to successful completion. 

• Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and advanced problem-solving skills. 

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to resolve complex problems and make data-driven decisions. 

• Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities. Ability to lead in a matrix style organizational environment.  

• Project Management: Experience using advanced project management tools and techniques to successfully drive projects to completion.
