Project Management Specialist

Job Description Summary

To Lead, manage & execute Projects of Grid Services in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam & Philippines. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be primarily responsible to manage projects execution from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and warranty period. Project management includes planning, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & Testing and commissioning.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

• Managing project, creating project schedule and procurement plan to ensure smooth project execution in timely manner with quality within cost
• Providing the cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin
• Creating and delivering scope-specific work plans and budgets, alongside risk assessments
• Identifies and evaluates risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility
• Preparing and presenting Project Management Review (PMR) to GE management
• Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook
• Executing projects in accordance to GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity
• Delivering Project Financial results: Sales & Margin, billing and cash collection
• Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stake holders on root cause analysis and resolution process
• Report/resolve any non-conformance and process in a timely manner
• Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation
• Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and proposes practical measures
• To secure Variations Orders & negotiating claims with customer & sub-contractors
• Support tendering/sales with Return of Experience

• Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project Management
• Knowledge of Grid Products such as Gas Insulated switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated switchgear (AIS), Power Transformers, protection relays and Substation system
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects
• Proactive work style, creativity, energetic & self-motivator with latest industry trends and knowledge
