POSITION SUMMARY:

This role leads project-based initiatives and operational needs of the ACO Complex Care Management Program. The ideal candidate is a facilitator, collaborator, operational wiz who can zoom in on the details while maintaining focus on the bigger picture. This position operationalizes projects that directly impact the patients we serve in Complex Care Management. The Project Management Specialist work with a multidisciplinary clinical team that is embedded in clinical settings throughout Massachusetts. The CCM program is part of the Mass Health Accountable Care Organizations that are contracted with Wellsense Health Plan. In partnership with BMC Health System, this role will interface with external stakeholders and internal teams across multiple ACO networks. This role is flexible- accommodating work from home, and work in the community with opportunities to grow within Population Health at BMCHS

The Project Management Specialist will lead the administrative tasks which support the operations of the CCM program. Unique to many Ops roles, this position is part of a dynamic and collaborative program which will require the person in this role to participate in brainstorming and program design as part of a group. This role will translate the ideas of the group into operational initiatives. This position also supports onboarding for all new hires, and facilitates group trainings and meetings. This position will regularly collaborate with external stakeholders representing CCM, BMCHS, and the partnering ACO.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in health administration preferred.
  • In some areas, equivalent work experience, particularly in healthcare, may substitute for education.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

  • None

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years minimum of project or healthcare administration experience.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong computer skills are essential (high level Microsoft Office products to include: PowerPoint/Excel/Word /Access, as well as Outlook, and Visio).
  • Outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build value-added relationships with individuals at all levels while providing superior customer service.
  • Positive contributor and a strong commitment to quality are essential.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills and the ability to multitask are a must.
  • Excellent judgment, with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that changes rapidly to fit the needs.
  • Must be team-oriented.

This position support CCM teams embedded in clinic sties throughout the South Shore and Springfield areas. This will require occasional travel to these areas
