Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager with experience in the services industry, particularly in final-mile white-glove installations and logistics. The ideal candidate will also have experience preparing bids and RFPs for project-based work. This role involves overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and excellent execution for our clients across industries that include such things as consumer electronics, security, digital signage, audio visual and smart home/building integration for residential and commercial markets.

Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee white-glove installation projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with field teams, logistics partners, and clients to resolve any project challenges.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial customer contact to final installation and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Bidding and RFP Management:

  • Prepare detailed bids and RFP responses for potential clients.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost and resource estimates.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and partners to ensure competitive and compelling proposals.

Client and Partner Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Engage with partners to leverage resources and expertise for seamless project execution.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance project workflows and logistics operations.
  • Implement best practices for efficiency and quality control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proven experience with bid preparation and RFP responses for project-based businesses.
  • Experience with final mile delivery and white glove installation services.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
