Project Manager
Job Description
Easy Dynamics is recruiting a Project Manager Federal background experience. The candidate will work with Government clients, software development teams, and subject matter experts to help formulate and develop solutions for products and programs through technologies using standards-based protocols. The candidate will have experience and familiarity supporting the planning, design and development of IT programs, to include cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management implementations. The Program Manager exercises the full range of supervisory responsibilities, to include assignment of work, setting priorities, selections, coaching, disciplinary actions, evaluating individual and organizational performance, training, contract scope and deliverables, and financial health of the project.Â
Responsibilities:Â
- Manage complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders from multiple independent organizations
- Provide program strategies to the client and serve as the single point of contact between multiple client executivesÂ
- Understand the goals and objectives of each workstream and offer trusted advice to ensure all streams achieve mission goalsÂ
- Manage administrative activities including personnel onboarding, timesheets, and tracking of project equipment inventoryÂ
- Participate in business development within public and private sectors, the digital identity management marketplace, cloud delivery, software development, and agile methodologies.Â
- Serve as a strategic, trusted advisor to multiple executivesÂ
- Manage project risk and corporate riskÂ
- Manage project financials and profitabilityÂ
- Identify and close additional sales opportunitiesÂ
- Manage multiple subcontractor organizations and coordinate effectively and collaboratively with other primes the client hiresÂ
- Manage a team of employees directly supporting the customer projectÂ
- Mentor staff at all levelsÂ
- Organize and lead agile teams including enterprise agile concepts such as scrums-of-scrumsÂ
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectivesÂ
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvementÂ
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve EDC delivery and client goals and approachesÂ
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
- Participate in regular business development meetings and lead regular internal program reviews with EDC executive staffÂ
- Identify and implement techniques and procedures that maximize return on client fundingÂ
- Establish program metrics, accountability, and mitigation plans for milestones that fall below minimum thresholdsÂ
- In coordination with the project team, design and develop tasks, test plans, and track progress to ensure complete traceability of customer requirements
- Provide periodic written and verbal reports to the Director, and other EDC senior management, as necessary
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences required
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail required. Candidate must possess the ability to anticipate challenges, prioritize work, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- 10+ years of Program Management experience required
- 5+ years of demonstrated product management and leadership, working both internally to drive delivery on roadmap goals, and externally to evaluate and drive partnerships that advance product strategyÂ
- Experience working within Agile Product Frameworks
- A metrics-driven approach to product managementÂ
- High sense of urgency and ability to work well with business and technical teamsÂ
- Ability to identify issues and elevate in advance of realizationÂ
- Candidate must possess knowledge of the Identity, Credential, and Access Management domain, as well as related cybersecurity conceptsÂ
- Experience managing director reports including personnel reviews, coaching staff, and managing disciplinary activitiesÂ
- Federal Government background experience requiredÂ
- Bachelorâs degree requiredÂ
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance (Public Trust)Â
- Program/Project Management certifications strongly desired (i.e., PMP, Agile POPM, etc.)Â
