Project Manager

Avint LLC is searching for a motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Herndon, VA area. The Project Manager is responsible for providing cybersecurity program and project management services to the clients' mission objectives.

The ideal leader will be an energetic and motivated Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and capabilities. Success in this position comes through thriving in an ever-changing environment and adapting to new and evolving requirements. Our most effective Cybersecurity Project Manager strengths lie in their ability to build relationships across multiple programs, with clients, technical teams, program management offices, and leverage those relationships to deliver mission results. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact between the sponsor and multiple agencies with responsibility for ensuring clear communication in support of the cybersecurity program objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of program and project management support services in line with industry best practices to ensure successful completion of tasks and deliverables
• Create and manage program and project schedules. Budgets and forecasts
• Provide support for the reporting of program metrics and data calls
• Provide life cycle management of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for supported systems
• Support recurring, scheduled, and ad-hoc meetings
• Manage staffing and resourcing for potential and active project activities
• Create, maintain, and update program and project documentation and reports

Requirements

Technical Qualifications:

• Skilled in identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
• Ability to translate, track, and prioritize information needs and intelligence collection requirements across the extended enterprise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in related field or 7 years of experience
• 7+ years of experience leading teams on large scale IT and cybersecurity projects involving analyzing complex project related problems and creating innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project
• Serves as Career Manager responsible for performance management and professional development of lower levels
• Proactively leads teams in the execution of complex tasks with minimal direction and produces high quality results
• Demonstrates mastery of multiple project manager areas
• Develops subject matter expertise of other staff
• Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, oral and written
• Leads working sessions to solicit ideas and develop innovative solutions
• Promotes collaboration across functional teams
• Develops and presents highly professional presentations, complex ideas, solutions and innovations to clients and Avint Leadership
• Serves as an Avint brand ambassador
• Always embodies Avint's core values
• Significantly contributes to growth initiatives in project manager areas

Must be eligible to obtain a clearance or currently hold an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
