Job Description:
We're looking for someone who has solid project management skills, coming from supply or demand function, who is looking to expand their breadth of business knowledge to manage critical projects and processes in the area of new products and portfolio changes.
Key responsibilities include:
Portfolio Management:
- Facilitator of the North American Regional Portfolio Management Review (PMR) meeting within S&OP+
- Manage portfolio effectiveness for the region, choices and ongoing trade-offs, optimal resource allocation, regional dashboard set-up, diagnostics, metrics and recommendations for portfolio health and transformation to bring our strategy to life
- Set up KPIs, dashboards and periodic reporting using existing/new data systems and business intelligence tools to drive fit to the strategy of our portfolio and innovation funnel
- Indirect leadership of the NA project management team with prioritization of initiatives and resources
Project Management:
- Project manager for key innovation and renovation projects
- Ensures North American Activity Leaders are managing projects and teams effectively and efficiently in line with aligned principles and ways of working using existing and new project management methodologies.
- Ensures clean handover and transitions from global project managers to regional project managers so that excellence in execution is achieved, on time and at pace.
Process Management:
- Governs and practices best-in-class usage of processes (Stage/Gate and artwork process)
- Manages and coordinates the execution of the North American portfolio of innovation projects and significant product changes. Focus on setting and achieving standards for the team to achieve excellence in execution.
