Job Description

The Project Manager is a key member of the Operations and IT team responsible for leading cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders. They serve as the intake manager for all incoming operational and IT requests, tracking progress and communicating the status to stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with the Director of Operations to create a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project roadmaps, including timelines and resource requirements
• Oversee project intake and progress, ensuring that key milestones are met and tasks are completed according to the stakeholders' standards
• Prioritize projects and manage any necessary changes to existing project plans based on evolving timelines or resource requirements, ensuring that any changes are approved by key stakeholders
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle, and perform project reviews following the completion of projects to identify areas for improvement
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between departments through regular communication around around ongoing projects, managing the expectations and concerns of key stakeholders
• Regularly evaluate EXPLO's policies and procedures, working with the Operations team to design, iterate on, and improve them

Required Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

• The ability to problem solve, identifying issues and taking corrective action
• Self-starter who can work proactively to efficiency and cross-functional collaboration

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 5 years of project management experience is required
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams with a proven track record of successful project delivery
