Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: 3 months (contract)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Facilitate, manage, and lead special projects, assignments, audits, and tasks to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee the AIM policy management lifecycle.
- Serve as the architecture review board chair, responsible for facilitating meetings, overseeing the change process, escalating concerns raised by the board, and tracking and reporting all changes.
Audit and Compliance:
- Work closely with the City Auditor and AIM leadership regarding audit findings and audit coordination.
- Proactively address all audit findings.
- Ensure the department aligns with citywide records retention policies.
- Escalate all risks and issues impacting the department from a policy, audit, or controls perspective.
Data and Systems Management:
- Ensure the City appropriately manages the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems through the management of policies and procedures.
- Ensure high-quality results for all areas under the control and oversight of the PMDP.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in policy management, audit controls, and risk reduction within an IT environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead teams through complex projects and audits.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with AIM leadership, the City Auditor, and other stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of records retention policies and their application within a municipal IT setting.
