What you'll be responsible for
- Leading project planning sessions
- Coordinating staff and internal resources
- Managing project progress and adapting work as required
- Ensuring projects meet deadlines
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Incorporating risk mitigation into project plans
- Conducting project reviews and contributing to reports for executive staff
- Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
- Coordinating delivery teams composed of Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Network/Infrastructure staff
- Managing communications with external customers and irth Solutions staff at all levels
Who you are
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in a software development organization
- You have strong working knowledge of commonly used waterfall and agile methodologies
- You thrive in an agile development environment
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You possess the capacity to manage high stress situations
- You can manage various project elements simultaneously
- You possess effective leadership skills
- You see the big picture
- You exhibit strong attention to detail
- You are effective at conflict resolution
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or similar is preferred
- A current project management certification (PMP, etc.) is highly preferred
