Position Information
Invenco is one of New Zealand's largest tech companies, with a global reach. We are growing rapidly in North America, Asia & Europe. This is a Project Manager position looking after our new product that is changing the way for payment solutions. With exposure across a wide range of tech stack, if you love technology this is a great Project Manager position to fully take ownership for development of our new product line.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Effectively own projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ownership for planning, leading, organizing and motivating the project team.
  • Ensuring a high-level of performance for the team, driven with quality and timeframe goals.
  • Managing all of the project scope - quality timeframes & costs.
  • Act as a positive change agent
  • Prepare project plan in accordance to the requirements from the product owner accounting for scope, budget and quality.
  • Manage the project scope, budget, schedule and quality and ensure any risks are communicated to the stakeholders early.
  • Facilitate agile processes including stand-ups, product backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Communication with stakeholders - to ensure that there are no surprises.
  • Deliver innovative products, with a commercial mindset in a collaborative environment.

About You
We are looking for a proven Project Manager - with previous experience working in a software organisation. You will need to hold experience in product development and have a track record of successfully delivering complex integration projects.
  • Technical background - including work experience as a developer or engineer
  • A thorough understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) models
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Commercial nous - with customer focus
  • Ability to evaluate complex project risks and issues
  • Experience in complex integration style projects
  • Able to demonstrate thorough understanding of software development lifecycle models.
  • Experience of successfully implementing software development projects using agile methodologies.
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams.
  • Able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global work environment and influence effectively.
