Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects from concept to close out. The ideal candidate will bring experience in management of design consultants, oversight of entitlement processes, construction/contractor management and evaluating changes that impact the scope, budget or schedule of a project.

Some additional responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develops final budget and tracks through project closeout.
• Provides support to financial team relative to investors, lenders, bank draws, invoice reviews, change management, forecasting, etc.
• Creates RFQ’s, RFPs, and assists in selection of consultants/contractors via a buy-out process that is tailored for the project type.
• Negotiates and maintains design and construction contracts.
• Responsible for daily management of construction costs and schedule, including identification of potential savings or value engineering opportunities, avoidance of delays, and management of risk within the framework of project life cycle.
• Maintains tracking system for all aspects of construction including bid packages, contracts, change orders, requests for information, submittals, etc.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering with five or more years of experience in construction project management strongly preferred.
