Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA
Position Type: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Contract Length: 7 months
Position Overview:
This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, employing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication while delivering successful outcomes for Medicaid Management IT Systems and related projects.
Duties:

• Manage full project lifecycle, including, procurement (where needed), planning, execution, controlling, and closeout of for Information Technology (IT) and Business projects.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies as needed.
• Perform vendor management functions as needed. Track and manage vendor deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, issues status updates etc. during the project life cycle.
• Produce detailed project plans and build schedules utilizing MS project. Create both standalone and integrated project schedules.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations. Communicate with senior leadership as needed.
• Produce project dashboards and presentations. Lead meetings and present information to a variety of stakeholders.
• Create workflows, user stories and project requirements as needed.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of experience managing large projects, stakeholders, and leading project teams
• 6 years of experience using MS project
• 6 years of experience using PowerPoint and Excel to analyze data and produce dashboards
• 10 years of experience in leading Waterfall projects
• 6 years of experience in leading Waterfall and Agile projects
• 5 years of experience with MS Visio
• Active PMP certification
• Experience of working in the Medicaid or Managed Care Organizations preferred
