NOTE: Candidate must be located or willing to travel to Long Island, NY on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services.
- Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role.
- Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services.
- Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.
- Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics.
- Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status.
- Utilizes project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.
- Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilizes PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log, etc.) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s).
- Additional processes may include meeting minutes, contractual reports, meeting organization, equipment tracking, and oversight of all project deliverables
- The Project Manager will be responsible for related internal processes including: ERAs, Forecasting, Kissflow, Planview, Invoicing Requests, and Revenue Tracking

- Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction or IT Networks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
- PMP certification is preferred but not required

Approximate salary range: $82,500.00 - $159,800.00
Basic Requirements
- BS degree (Engineering, Business, Finance or Project Management related preferred) and 4+ years of experience in project/program management or engineering/technical experience
- OR 6+ years of project management, engineering or technical experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
