As a Project Manager, you will work with Program Managers and Business Managers to bring our product roadmaps to life. Your responsibilities span the product development life cycle from project initiation, through development and test, to product release. In this role, you will:

• Partner with global, multi-discipline engineering teams to develop and manage project delivery plans, budgets, and resource plans.
• Look beyond the current project state to identify dependencies, anticipate obstacles and risks, and proactively put mitigation and contingency plans in place.
• Bring stakeholders together to resolve complex project issues and risks in the best interest of the Business.
• Concisely communicate progress, decisions, key issues, risks, and mitigation plans to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure project alignment across other initiatives to avoid duplication or misaligned opportunities.
• Provide input to product roadmaps and strategies to optimize new product and feature delivery.

This position is focused on managing our electronic hardware resiliency projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful product handoff from remote engineering campuses to local production facilities. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to coordinate prototype and pilot build activities. As liaison, you will be required to be onsite during prototype and pilot builds. Some additional travel, both domestic and international, may be required to meet with team members and facilitate project progress. Your secondary responsibility will be to manage your own hardware resiliency projects from end to end. Facilitating decisions and taking initiative to address issues and risks early are key to your success in this role.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree and/or MBA
• Advanced training or certifications in PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Business Administration, Management, Operations, Project Engineering, or Agile/Scrum methodologies
• 5+ years of experience in product development or manufacturing readiness, especially with electronic hardware and embedded software
• 2+ years of experience in a project management or project leadership role
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams, partner with management, and lead indirect resources
• Demonstrated experience in leading project development efforts
• Demonstrated experience in project planning (include financial budgeting and forecasting), execution, and risk management
• Knowledge of project management processes and tools such as PMI model, scheduling software, and configuration management tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies, especially with the Scaled Agile Framework
• Knowledge of product certifications, such as 61508 functional safety, 62443 Security, UL, NEMA, CE, TUV, and other approval agencies
• Technical knowledge in industrial controls, new product design, hardware/software, product testing, manufacturing, and/or continuation engineering
• Experience with Data Analytics using tools such as Power BI and Power Query
