We are looking for an innovative Grants Project Manager to support one of our Federal clients. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Grants Project Manager

Manages contract deliverables, delivery order review, and briefings/presentations. Performs analysis and evaluation of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues that would require a report and recommend solutions. For planning purposes, tasks may include the following:

  • Meeting with the CO and COR to discuss personnel needs, personnel performance, and personnel replacement.
  • Overseeing personnel work, including onboarding personnel per agency needs, developing personnel performance plans, monitoring performance, and facilitating the departure and replacement of staff, as needed.
  • Oversight of personnel grantee performance activity.
  • Oversight of personnel report review activity.
  • Oversight of personnel contract/grant tracking activity.
  • Oversight of personnel dissemination activity.
  • Oversight of personnel financial data activity; and
  • Other duties as assigned (e.g., ad hoc activities to address management needs).
  • Oversight: This individual is the lead contract staff member overseeing the contract and is capable of carrying out independent oversight of personnel deployed through the contract.
  • Manage records in accordance with State/Federal guidelines, grant guidelines.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field, master's degree highly preferred, from an accredited university or college.
  • PMP Certified (Preferred).
  • Ten (10) years of relevant and progressive post-baccalaureate professional experience managing client services projects (preferably grants) of the $5M-$10M size, with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Head Start Act and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
  • Background and training in program analysis and evaluation, including risk assessment and data aggregation and analysis.
  • Experience managing professional support and consultant services government program(s) to assist with effective and efficient administrative and program oversight to execute the highest quality of work related to grant/contract/project management, acquisition/grant making, dissemination and strategic communication support, and associated activities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency/experience in successfully developing, implementing, and managing/improving complex, high profile, multi-faceted projects including experience in implementing quality assurance systems that improved the provision of client services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to review, aggregate, and present data gathered from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and produce high quality written products such as reports, memoranda, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and expertise in off the shelf software and technology applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, SmartSheets and GIS mapping applications.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance for access to Government Systems.
