Your Role and Responsibilities
At IBM our Project Managers play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. As a Project Manager for our premier Software Development Location you’ll be at the forefront of driving project direction defining metrics and managing performance to meet client expectations. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual who has a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is capable of understanding technical concepts and is effective at communicating with project stakeholders. The day to day responsibilities will be a mix of internal operational management and client focused project work. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered according to the project plan client expectations and budget. Additionally you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders managing project risks and providing ongoing support to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.
• Manage the project team through the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure the project is delivered according to the project plan client expectations and budget.
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience as Senior Project Manager
• Extensive experience using project planning tools to create manage and track project results
• Exposure to managing projects and programs in a complex cross-team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate project plans risks and outcomes
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Agile Scrum Master Certified preferred
• Development or Engineering background preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
