Job Description

Local Projects Project Managers help run our innovative experiential design projects. They have excellent communication and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and an outsized interest in teamwork and supporting their colleagues.

Project Managers work within the Project Management Department under the direction of the Director of Project Management and in support of our senior project managers and directors, with whom this role will work closely. This role is very hands-on and fosters the development of the skills and experience required for a career in experience design and interactive media project management and direction.

3-5 years experience at a design studio or architecture firm preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • The ability to travel within the US and globally for project installs, client meetings, and new business pitches, etc.
  • Must be able to work on-site in our NYC Studio
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Requirements

  • Creation of full scopes of work and vendor scopes of work, including scoping exercises to determine time estimates and expectations for all staff on a project
  • Assist in the coordination of projects per the direction of the Project Director
  • Budget creation and actual tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate and lead meetings for the project team
  • Client interfacing, management, and care under the direction of the Project Director, Senior Project Manager or Studio Principal
  • Daily management of the entire LP project team to carry the project through to successful completion from kickoff to installation leveraging the full range of project management abilities
  • Management of LP subcontractors (Design, Development, Content, Hardware, Physical Design, and Fabrication)
  • Track project documents and deliverables, following proper filing requirements
  • Provide administrative support to Project Director including note-taking, agenda development, expense reports, travel arrangements, and overall project assistance

  • Excellent note-taking skills
  • Possesses initiative and motivation as a self-starter
  • Eager to learn about design phases, media production, and software

Salary: 75,000 to 95,000
