Job Overview:

The Project Manager will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers. This role will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

You will liaise between the client and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. This includes implementation, rollout, and delivery of products and services and management of specific, on-going projects to ensure client requirements and growth strategies. In addition, this includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and client contacts in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and contact to client on products, services, key initiatives and strategies.
  • Manage and/or oversee the resolution of client issues throughout various departments.
  • Constantly monitor and report all client related projects, changes, issues, etc.
  • Assist with urgent, or severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Identify opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams.
  • Track key account metrics; prepare monthly reporting to SG management.
  • Cross training with Account manager in all aspects of duties
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact with client and SG management on reporting, corporate projects, departmental communication, and initiatives. Manage reporting and project activities on all project phases for multiple products, systems, and locations in the company portfolio.
  • Project activities including portfolio planning, communications, execution, testing, cutover, and support strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders, IT management, IT team members, and external vendor resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Create, manage and track project including, but not limited to:
  1. Project schedules
  2. Detailed project plans
  3. Project scope statements
  4. Cost estimates
  5. Resource plans
  6. Risk and issues logs
  7. Status reports
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regard to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
  • Make recommendations to management about reporting efficiencies, schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from team members.
  • Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting, maintaining metrics and dashboard

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of account management or other relevant experience
  • Strong Project management skills. PM certificate a plus or willingness to attend classes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; in addition to excellent interpersonal, technical, leadership and presentation skills
  • Automotive Finance and Insurance industry or Auto Dealer Relations experience
  • Proficient (high aptitude level) in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficient in MS Visio, MS Project
  • Willing to travel 5%, or slightly more.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of new product implementations and/or rollouts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
