Project Manager

At HyperSpectral Corp, the new role of Project Manager is central to our commitment to innovation in AI-powered spectral data analysis. In this role, you will leverage PMP methodologies, DevOps strategies, and both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies to lead initiatives crucial to our mission. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and reinforcing a culture of structured project management and accountability, supported by strong management backing, within our high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage key projects in AI and spectral data analysis using PMP methodologies to align with HyperSpectral’s strategic objectives.
• Implement and oversee scheduling and project management activities, fostering a collaborative culture between software development, IT operations, and other technical teams.
• Utilize both Agile and Waterfall project management techniques, as appropriate, ensuring a disciplined, stage-by-stage approach to our complex, technology-driven projects.
• Develop and standardize project management processes, tailored to support the unique needs and challenges of HyperSpectral’s innovative environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in project execution.
• Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and addressing potential risks or delays proactively.
• Champion the integration of structured project management practices across the company, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to allocate resources effectively, balancing project needs with organizational priorities.
• Lead risk management efforts, identifying potential obstacles and developing robust mitigation strategies.
• No supervisory responsibilities at this time.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong foundation in project management, with PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience in implementing DevOps strategies and managing projects through Waterfall and Agile methodologies, particularly in high-tech or AI-focused environments.
• Proven track record of fostering project management cultures in dynamic, innovative settings.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of guiding diverse teams and interfacing with various departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and organization in a fast-paced environment.




• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods, particularly for planning, meetings, and computer-based work.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP certification is desired.
• Several years of project management experience, preferably in a technology, AI, or data analytics domain.
