Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project execution including but not limited to timeline, budget, scope, and quality.
- Coordinate job execution with both in-house field force and subcontracted suppliers
- Assist operations and sales teams in building technical and commercial proposals
- Review and order material/Equipment needed for Projects
- Determine monthly cost to invoice ratio, review sub invoices for correct percentage of monthly invoicing
- Track monthly cost to booked margin and determine monthly adjustments as needed throughout Project
- Work closely with Local Market manager to keep them up to date on project performance and risk.
- Help Sales/Market Research, qualify, evaluate, select, and onboard subcontract suppliers
- Help Market to Maintain, update, and develop our pool of subcontract suppliers
- Manage customer and supplier relationships
- Proficient in Controls and Mechanical Equipment project estimating and review, worked with MS projects or equivalent.
- Proficient in Managing Controls and Mechanical Equipment replacement projects and installation.
Education / certifications:
- College degree preferred
- PMP certification preferred
Experience / qualifications:
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred, 4 to 5 years of experience in Project Management in the Construction/HVAC Market; Projects of up to $2.0 Million preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of job costing principles
- Experience using project management tools including but not limited to Gantt charts, MS Project, MS Excel, and similar
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI, Comfort Draw, or similar)
- Commercial HVAC Project Management experience preferred
