Your Role and Responsibilities
β Daily activities include direct customer engagement knowledge sharing & collaborative solution implementation POC test execution include on call 24/7 support.
β Acting as a technical interface to customers for software support and the delivery of operational services as required by the customer.
β Performing technical service and/or post sale support for Open Source.
β Assisting in services activities including systems assurance installation account management basic problem determination.
β Using established and varied techniques and procedures to perform basic problem determination and problem solving. Resolve customer software operational situations.
β Understanding and able to articulate IBMβs technical support delivery methodology particularly as it relates to base and enhanced support.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
β 5+ years experience in middleware product support and implementation
β Software support engineer with experience in implement & build of large-scale system architecture.
β Troubleshooting of various aspects (OS MW Application)
β In-depth knowledge of IT technology (System OS Storage Middle ware Networking)
β Ability to work independently & collaborate in team work.
β Exhibits excellent communication leadership and problem solving skills.
β Good command of English.
Eligibility Requirements :
β Normal/flexible office conditions at IBM and customer locations.
β Frequent daily travel. irregular customer driven work hours including shift and weekend activities.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
β Possesses experience with System Software or Server
β Websphere DB2 JBoss RedHat OpenShift or other open source certification will be a plus
