WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager to work out of our Orlando, FL office. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

The Project Manager position will require travel and must be able to deploy with little or no advance notice to anywhere in the United State and its territories for an extended period of time.

Your Impact
  • Manage project team to execute emergency management operations projects effectively and efficiently
  • Performing as client interface in Emergency Operations Center and/or Field Staging Area operations prior to, during, and post disaster.
  • Ensure project execution within defined budget and timelines.
  • Manage and lead scope changes for emergency management operations project.
  • Track, monitor and control project expense within budgetary guidelines.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to
  • WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Emergency Management, Public Administration, or similar/related concentration.
  • 5-7 years experience in Emergency/Disaster/Crisis Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Emergency management and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance, mitigation project processes.
  • Experience in leadership, staff supervision and management.
  • Travel Required - Must be able to deploy with little or no advance notice to anywhere in the United State and its territories for an extended period of time.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

    This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or similar/related concentration.
  • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Previous experience in government entities and/or military.
