Project Manager

Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a Project Manager for their client, a local biotech organization, for a long term contractual engagement. This position will primarily be remote, but does require some work onsite in Cambridge and Norton, MA. The ideal candidate will apply advanced project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills, and project management methodologies to exceed the project requirements of medium to large size and complexity. The successful candidate must be organized, detail and process oriented, service-driven, and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple cloud software-based projects. 
• Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects. 
• Effectively communicates relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers in other practices. 
• Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion. 
• Tactfully communicates sensitive information. 
• Manages project budget, including impact of Change Orders or changes to scope and timelines. 
• Manages relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping the stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables. 
• Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities
• Anticipates needs and proposes of alternative business solutions. 
• Possesses a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives. 
• Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. 
• Reviews the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards. 
• Evaluates the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase 
• Works across the organization to share lessons learned and best practices. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Must have experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industries
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of IT Project Management experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Highly detail-oriented, organized and process-oriented 
• Must demonstrate the ability to coordinate efforts of large groups of individuals and forecast project status 
• Ability to plan, coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines, while keeping the project within budget 
• PMP Certification desired
