Project Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Take responsibility for the execution of new product introduction (NPI) process for module development within the Power module business unit
• Take ownership of module development schedules, budgets, priorities, risk assessments and quality targets. Revise plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements leveraging the appropriate processes.
• Where processes do not exist, or can be improved, proactively drive change to ensure success of the project, the team and the business
• Ensure that all disciplines & support functions work together to meet and/or beat the project goals. Collaborate across the Power Module business unit to coordinate on all module release activities.
• Identify needed resources and assign individual responsibilities. Prioritize projects and project efforts per business requirements.
• Identify and exercise company-wide subject matter experts when required
• Execute and improve the NPI methodology and project standards
• Manage module development programs and serve as a key customer interface for projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Engineering
• Experience in new product development environment
• Demonstrated success managing multiple development projects simultaneously in the semiconductor industry
• Resourceful, hands-on, problem solving individual with initiative and drive to work around technical obstacles
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast pace, highly dynamic environment, at both a detailed execution and strategic level
• Must possess a strong "whatever it takes" attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Experience working in a matrixed environment with the ability to influence and gain commitments without direct supervisor authority
• Willing and open to travel - both domestic and international

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Product development/project management experience in aerospace, industrial, & automotive market, with direct customer level exposure
• Experience in customer and/or vendor negotiation
• Experience representing projects and development process in both internal and external audits
