This role can be based in Houston, TX or Brooklyn, NY.
What You'll Be Doing:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management team. Working closely with the Strategy & Business Development and Product Development Teams, the Project Manager will be responsible for the commercial deployment of Amogy's powerpacks into customer assets and continuous improvement to ensure the appropriate product/market fit. This role will own the relationships with external transportation, power, and ammonia companies to implement our technology in this initial commercialization phase as part of a successful customer experience, and will have the opportunity to develop into an SME for project management as our products mature.
- Translate sales leads developed by the Strategy & Business Development organization into project proposals for early commercialization of our technology in customer-specific applications
- Successfully deliver projects to external partners, from proposal development to execution and commissioning
- Own the full lifecycle of custom solution projects, from defining the proposal to the implementation and commissioning of our system for the customers' end use applications
- Interface with experts in the technology development organization to ensure projects meet customer timeline and technical requirements
- Secure future sales by providing a flawless customer experience through successful project stewardship, implementation, and commissioning
- Ensure strong collaboration & communication with both internal and external parties
- Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet the integral milestones
- Execute detailed project tracking and documentation, including communicating regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
The minimum requirements we seek:
- BS/MS in a technical field such as engineering or naval architecture - chemical, electrical, and marine engineering preferred
- 8+ years experience in project management, budgeting, project schedule development and execution, and risk assessment
- Maritime technology experience strongly preferred, with demonstrated experience in executing maritime construction/engineering projects (i.e. vessel repowers, new construction layouts, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of a customer-facing project lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects for clients or customers, with strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to complex problems across multiple disciplines such as process engineering, electrical engineering, powertrain systems, and customer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment Strong knowledge of project management software system

The salary pay range for this position is $145,000 to $170,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
