Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).

Job Description

THE ROLE: Project Manager

A+E Networks is seeking a talented and committed Project Manager to work in the A+E Enterprise PMO leading projects in Technology, Engineering, Production and Content Operations, and the enterprise level initiatives. This role will manage both enterprise level technical and business projects.

Candidates must have excellent project management skills, passion, and strategic insight to help successfully drive projects from initiation through implementation. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a dynamic fast paced environment and enjoy interacting with and leading diverse teams. Furthermore, we seek someone who can be proactive and successfully manage project issues and risks.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and risks
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple departments are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in sync.
  • Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout project lifecycle to maintain PMO standards.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Support more senior members of the EPMO (program managers, senior program managers) in the execution of large scale and enterprise initiatives.

  • Adaptability: must be adaptable and adjust plans and strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Teamwork: must be able to work collaboratively with their team to achieve project goals.
  • Technical expertise: must have a good understanding of the technical aspects of the project and be able to communicate effectively with technical team members.

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of project management experience
  • Ability to lead technical and business projects
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong communication skills - written and spoken

Desired

  • Experience working in broadcast/media
  • PMP Certification

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $97,409 - $125,302

Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,

competencies, location, and experience. A+E offers a competitive total compensation
