Project Manager

Overview: As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of software projects focused on either frontend or backend technologies. Reporting to the VP of your department, you will ensure that projects align with business goals and customer needs. You will leverage your extensive experience in project management and technical expertise to drive project execution, manage stakeholder expectations, and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate and collaborate with frontend or backend development teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including department leadership, Product Directors, and development teams.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
• Manage project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and change requests.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team performance.
• Align project efforts with corporate objectives and customer needs.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10 to 13 years of experience in project management roles, specifically in software development projects.
• Strong understanding of frontend or backend technologies and development processes.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive change and inspire teams.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities to influence outcomes at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Demonstrated expertise in managing project schedules, resources,and risks.
• Maintains and reports project performance metrics and ensures continuous improvement in delivery.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to envision future states and drive organizational growth.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
