THE ROLE: Project Manager

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager, Presidio Field Servicesyou will the primary customer point of contact, responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously from Internal Kick Off meeting through and including project close out.The role of the Project Manager, Presidio Field Services is to develop and maintain a project plan, which outlines project's tasks, milestone dates, status, and allocation of resources to Customer stakeholders and other interested parties. This is a customer facing position that requires the utmost professionalism, master at multi-tasking and extremely detailed oriented. Project Management at Presidio Field Services includes support of the on-site field technicians performing the actual work.

Travel Requirements:

This position does require travel as needed to customer sites < 5%. It will be based at your home office location

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Presidio Field Service primary point of contact for customer over the lifetime of the project.
• Create and maintain project plans
• Plan and coordinate project schedules, goals and milestones to meet project deadlines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed and distribute to the field resources.
• Adhere to budgets and keep projects on track for successful completion.Create project health reports, analyze the data and adjust project plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the Presidio Field Service team and customer team to create rollout schedules based on geographical needs, blackout dates, and time restrictions set by customers.
• Host daily/weekly project status meetings both internal and customer facing.
• Produce project P&L reports and project exception reporting.Create project health reports, analyze the data and adjust project plans as necessary
• Process project invoicing and Project Change Order as specified in the project SOW.
• Responsible for knowledge transfer across all teams and maintaining client satisfaction through the life of the project.
• Daily communication with field resources on sites, supplying support when necessary and retrieving for milestone updates.
• Ability to travel into local Presidio offices and customer locations in the continental US as needed.
• Ability to work in a high paced transactional environment with flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including weekend, overnight or holiday coverage as required.
• Ability to work from remote locations with limited direct supervision. This is a work from home office position.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in managing deployment of network hardware in medium (100) to large quantity (+500 ) sites. A working knowledge of installing copper (CAT5e & CAT6) and fiber (Single & Multi-Mode) infrastructure cabling highly preferred.
• Strong skills in all Microsoft Applications; Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Project Management Professional certification strongly preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 3+ years of previous project management experience with multiple sites deployment of network hardware including : routers, switches, access points, security devices and unified communications equipment.
• Strong communication skills and experience communicating directly with customers, vendors and internal management.
