Job Description
Piedmont Aviation Component Services (a subsidiary of TAT Technologies) is currently seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for the on-site support of the Piedmont Aviation projects. This position will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to leadership members, project contributors, and all relevant stakeholders. Prior experience in project management and/or manufacturing projects Excellent MS Office knowledge Ability to work in a multicultural organization Experience working within a Matrix organization with international reporting structure Excellent verbal and written communications skills Discretion and confidentiality Meet contractual conditions of performance Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Responsibilities
- On-site facilitation of the project processes to include but not limited to functional design, contractors and vendors, materials management, labor, etc.
- Manage all communication with external resources required for the project
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners as directed by project needs
- Collaborate with engineers, supply chain, operations, etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Manage compliance with permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Manage costs and ensure the project is on budget and on time; monitor and report on project progress
- Comply with all safety and quality guidelines
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies and articulate needs through appropriate communication channels
- Oversee all onsite project tasks to monitor compliance with building, safety, and compliance regulations
- Review the work progress on daily basis and provide regular status reports
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Analyze project and conduct proper forecasting to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
