Job Description

About the Role:

Cyient has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager with our Telecommunications Team in Allen, TX. You will oversee the lifecycle of multiple Outside Plant (OSP) Telecom Engineering projects for our customer(s), ensuring that the projects are completed within budget, within the delivery timelines and are completed, accurate and viable projects. You will collaborate with OSP Design Engineers, QC Design Engineers, Permit Coordinators, Customers and Cyient leadership to track and provide status updates to all team members. You will identify challenge points within the design and delivery process and collaborate to eliminate them. You may host regular or ad-hoc team meetings to discuss projects, challenges and determine project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.

You must have current authorization to work in the United States, and be able to travel to the office daily.

You Will:
• Provide project management to local OSP engineering teams and other global Cyient engineering and delivery teams working on multiple projects.
• Oversee and coordinate with team members to achieve maximum success and efficiency in delivery of engineering designs, field surveys, and other OSP projects.
• Identify and deploy necessary resources to accomplish work while managing the stability of the project and customer account.
• Review, understand, and explain multiple telecom deployment technologies (FTTH, FTTP, FTTN, HFC, CATV, Small Cell, etc.), telecom terminology, and the various telecom infrastructure environments (aerial, buried, underground, wireless).
• Communicate project and account status to senior management, customers, and other partners.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with our customers and partners.
• Pro-actively identify potential project risk factors, communicate these with our partners, and work with team members to address and resolve them.

You'll Need:
• 5+ years of Project Management or a PMP certification
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position.
• 2+ years of experience telecom design, delivery process or OSP Engineering lifecycle experience
• Flexibility for travel up to 25% may be required.
• You must have current authorization to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship is not available).
• You must successfully pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
• You must have a clean driving record and have reliable transportation
