Your role at Baxter:

Project Manager drives projects to successful completion through best practices and stakeholder management. Indirectly manages resources and may directly manage resources. This role is vital to the future of the business at Round Lake Drug Delivery. The Project Managers in the PMO manage new product introductions, global expansions of existing products and large capital projects. This role will focus on overall capital projects in Baxter Round Lake Drug Delivery site.

What you'll be doing:

• Leads large team/teams in defining program strategies and developing goals/achievements.
• Works as a site capital project coordinator to support, guide and train project owners.
• Develops a tool or system to handle resource load and ongoing projects.
• Drives and supervises a portfolio of projects, ensuring project owners have appropriate schedule, scope and budget controls in place and successfully deliver against milestones.
• Provides program updates and conducts reviews with all levels of management.
• Using project management tools, develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with line managers and other manufacturing leaders.
• Approves team deliverables for project completion.
• Anticipates and resolves conflict situations to a win-win outcome.
• Brings up risks and issues to leadership and to key stakeholders for resolution.
• May recommend Core Team members and assemble project Core Teams.
• May interview, hire, coach, empower, develop, recognize and manage performance of direct reports.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree Required (preferably in engineering).
• 5 plus years demonstrated ability in Project Management.
• Experience managing capital projects.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a matrixed, team environment.
• Must be well versed in Project Management tools (PMBOK or equivalent) and must possess knowledge of related subject areas.
• Must have knowledge of such principles as GMPs, FDA guidelines and purchasing practices.
• Must be capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through entrepreneurial thought and experience.
• Must demonstrate strategic leadership, strong business insight, and proficient supervisory skills, if applicable.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously.
• Ability to design and implement projects/studies outside area of expertise.
• PMP (project Management Professional) Certification is highly desirable.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 - $120,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
