SUMMARY

We are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager to join the IT PMO team to continue to enhance and advance the project management and project portfolio management capabilities at Allegro. The IT Project Manager will manage the successful delivery of multiple IT projects of various sizes and complexity. The IT Project Manager will manage projects across the Application, Infrastructure and Security domains. This is a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to create alignment amongst multiple stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work closely with project sponsor, stakeholders, and team members to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new projects.
• Build and maintain detailed project milestones, tasks and schedule.
• Track project status and deliverables of in-flight projects using appropriate tools.
• Actively manage project issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide direction and support to the project team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from project kickoff through implementation.
• Communicate project status to key stakeholders and manage expectations on project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Plan and facilitate Steering Committee meetings for large or strategic projects.
• Present reports defining project progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved while following established IT processes.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Mentor project team members to foster and promote a positive team atmosphere.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years IT project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other four-year degree focusing on information technology.
• PMP or similar certification is a must.
• Agile training and/or certification a plus.
• Experience delivering IT projects across Business Applications, Infrastructure and Security.
• Experience working with managed service and delivery partners leveraging a Global Workforce.
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct within a matrixed organization structure.
• Ability to influence others to achieve results.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment.
• Work cross functionally within IT and the business functions as well as manage conflict and hold people accountable.
• Lead, motivate and direct within a matrixed organization structure.
