Job Description

We are looking for an established project manager to further their career within the intralogistics systems arena delivering projects of varying complexity and sizes.

The Project Manager position based in Ashby-De-La-Zouch is required to strengthen the existing team. The role requires the successful candidate to integrate with the existing Project Management team and develop both client and industry specific knowledge. The role will be supported by the Project Management team and wider PMO within Beumer Group. There is a detailed development route for the successful applicant and will be aligned with the necessary academic training and qualifications.

As a Project Manager within BEUMER Customer Support you are overall responsible for planning and execution of modernization and upgrade projects for existing clients with already operational systems. You will be expected to manage several projects in parallel and towards different customers, and your projects will vary from small to medium size (in both project value and project complexity).

Responsibilities :-

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close project execution in order to deliver the project (and related products, services and results) on time, within budget and with the agreed quality.
• Manage the project on operational level (e.g. project deliverables, progress reporting, forecasts, etc.)
• Inform, communicate, and coordinate internal and external project activities to BG (e.g. across departments and group companies, etc.)
• Ensures project execution is in conformity with the contract and project requirements.
• Secures the interests of Beumer Group and finds the right balance to fulfil customer satisfaction.
• Based on core values and “Leadership” principles, responsible for the overall management of the project team to achieve project milestones and objectives in a cost effective and timely manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience

Working within a project delivery environment with knowledge of project management framework, Project controls, Schedules, Financial Management.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing variety of projects of differing size and complexity.
• Degree in Project Management or Engineering and/or commercial discipline.
• International project exposure is a plus.

Knowledge or experience in integrated Automation Systems and/or Manufacturing & Distribution Industries would be beneficial although not essential.

• Ideally degree qualified with an engineering background along with the relevant experience will also be desirable.
• A formal PM certification.
• CDM Experience / Design and Build Experience
• Proficient MS Office user
• SharePoint
• Microsoft Project / Primavera
• ERP System Experience.
• Flexibility to travel. (projects may require flexibility in both working hours and site based visits to customer facilities)
