Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated and experienced project manager to join the Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX) team and help manage business transformational projects from initiation through delivery. The role sits within the Product Operations and Customer Success team, focused on ensuring that education customers across the world have easy access to Autodesk products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules
• Assist team members in planning, estimating, and controlling tasks
• Ensure that interfaces are recognized, and tasks are integrated
• Perform critical path analysis and develop action plans to mitigate risk
• Identify, communicate, and implement alternative solutions
• Monitor project to ensure completion within defined schedule and quality parameters
• Prepare and distribute various reports and updates on the status to support your manager's reporting
• Analyze project metrics and trends to evaluate overall success
• Anticipate potential issues and escalate to manager
• Contribute to development of consistent Project Management processes and measures as we establish our team
• Ensure effective meetings from definition of objectives through facilitation to result in desired, actionable outcome
• Comply with internal reporting standards and practices
• Perform project plan analysis by evaluating risk, developing risk mitigation plans, and ensuring retrospectives are scheduled
• Maintain effective communication channels

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team of technical experts, engineers, subject matter experts, and other project managers
• Excellent writing skills, editing skills, and command of spelling, grammar, and syntax rules
• Experience working in both waterfall and agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
• 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within an IT-related field
• Experience leading a team to achieve project objectives and deliver projects
• A keen sense of ownership with a bias for action
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team player

Salary Midpoint for this Position (Colorado): $90k - $100k
