Project Manager, Clinical Research
Job Description
What You'll Do
This position is responsible for maintaining and driving timelines, project plans, and deliverables for customer facing projects. You will also be responsible for support for ongoing projects at the program and protocol level. You may also have the responsibility for line management of others in the Professional Services organization.
- Support multiple clinical research technology projects with a focus on delivery of the scope on time, within budget and with a high-quality outcome
- Support IT on-boarding and roll-out of software applications in hospital space
- Provide prompt response and resolution to customer inquiries and requests
- Create training and support documentation
- Manage identification and resolution of clinical trial data inquiries
- Mentoring and/or managing Professional Services staff
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Oversee and manage projects at the portfolio or program level
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Collaborate with Product on feature requests and enhancements
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Providing prompt response and resolution to customer inquiries and requests
- Create training and support documentation
- Managing identification and resolution of clinical trial data inquiries
- Assist in the maintenance and updates to Professional Services SOPs and Work Instructions
Who You Are
You're a proactive Professional Services professional with at least 4 years of relevant experience. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.
- You have 2+ years of experience in clinical research (pharma, device and/or biotech sectors) and a solid understanding of Clinical Research technology
- You have experience owning client relationships
- You are able to influence customers and internal stakeholders to deliver on project requirements
- You have excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- You have excellent computer skills, public speaking, presentation and teaching skills
- You are proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Suite products
- You are self-motivated, able to work with remote teams and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner
- You have the ability to work within cross-functional team and manage multiple simultaneous projects

Extra Credit
- You have direct experience with research regulations
- You have worked for a technology company (or have worked directly with software developers)
- You have oncology and/or clinical technology user experience

Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $110,400.00 - $165,600.00
Preferred Primary Location: NYC Headquarters
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
